I called up Dylan because I wanted to sell my whole collection in one go. Dylan was courteous and prompt to respond, even late in the evenings which surprised me. We negotiated a price and time, and 20 minutes after I showed up at his place with my books, I was driving away with the agreed cash in hand. I would recommend reaching out to Dylan if you want to sell your collections. Best option on Long Island.

I first contacted Dylan about selling my collection in the spring, saying I would be able to drive to Long Island in the summer. There was no pressure to sell or come right away. I finally visited Dylan in August, and once again felt very relaxed. He even helped me bring some of my boxed comics in to his home. As he went through my comments, he gave verbal comments of what he saw, pointing out good and bad (I never felt like he was trying to diminish my collection or set-up a lowball offer). His offer was what close to what I was expecting. Very cordial, extremely knowledgeable, and an all-around pleasant experience (he even gave me better directions to get out of Long Island).

After years of searching many different auction sites for my white whale, I stumbled across Dylan on eBay….and then instagram, and there it was at the exact grade I needed. Only 30 exist unsigned at this grade out in the wild. The price was up there. prices are firm which did hurt. with a better price on his IG, I pulled the trigger. Dylan communicated well and the transaction went smoothly. This guy is going places! Reminds me of A young Mr Mint with baseball cards from back in the 90s!

Dylan auctions was terrific when I wrote my initial review but I have noticed more recently they have been over grading many of the comic books listed for auction(Yet they were claiming to under grade). Now they claim to take more pictures than the other sellers, but I have seen many other sellers posting the same number of photos. Dylan's also doubled their shipping rate so the customer over pays for the cost of shipping unless they participate in and win multiple auctions. $9.99 to ship one comic book is ridiculous. Thus I removed them from my saved sellers list and no longer purchase comic books from Dylan's Auctions.
